At Pittsburgh University, Firestorm is in a radioactive containment unit. Atom and Prof. Stein are trying to disarm the Firestorm Matrix. Atom is in front of the “matrix while Ronnie and Jason argue and an explosion ensues. Firestorm’s face explodes with the three yelling, “PROFESSOR!” In Pearl River, New York, news breaks out on the TV that Martian Manhunter is alive and a woman slaughters her family while making dinner (I see a theme) calling out J’onzz (Martian Manhunter) name. In Denver, Colorado, Martian Manhunter goes to Prof. Erdel’s grave and finds a picture of him and his daughter. At the Peruvian Jungle, The Hawks discover that Hath-Set after murdering them everytime throughout history, made death masks as if they were prizes. The decision is decided upon to hunt down and kill Hath-Set! Back to Colorado, Martian Manhunter disguised as Prof. Erdel visits Melissa (Erdel’s daughter) and finds out that he was not the 1st Martian to be brought over from Mars. In Dubai, Deadman tries to communicate with Aquaman and Mera when they dive into the sea leaving a trail of dead fish in their wake. The White Lantern Ring conveys to Deadman, “Help them live!” and teleports him into a mountainous region. The ring yells, “FIGHT!” Brand questions, “Fight what? Fight who?” Revealing where Deadman is… The Antimatter Universe on the planet Qward… facing THE ANTI-MONITOR! The words he utters sums it up, “YOU GOTTA BE JOKING!”
